Original Items: one-of-a-kind set. This comes "straight out of the attic. A wonderful grouping that belonged to United States Marine Corps Corporal John Richard Carter from Buffalo, New York. Born June 21st 1922, enlisted April 14th 1942, honorably discharged April 15th 1946.
The grouping is comprised of the following:
Tunic (approximately size 38) named and dated December 1st 1942. Complete with Corporal's Chevrons and red/green cuff stripes denoting four years of service. Ruptured Duck WWII discharge patch, ribbon bar with the following- American Theater Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal, Asia Pacific Medal with two Bronze Stars for two landings. The landings were Guadalcanal and Okinawa. A unit shoulder patch for the 3rd Marine Amphibious Corp.
