"FELCO" and "HEALTH KNIT" Henry Neck Tee
FELCO, born in New York, USA, collaborated with Health Knit, a long-established American cut and sewn manufacturer.
The T-shirts are made with fabrics and designs planned by FELCO and produced at the Healthknit factory using traditional manufacturing methods.
Medium weight US cotton fabric with classic sewing. Comfortable to wear, durable, and universally appealing designs that will be loved for years to come.
FELCO
The company was born in New York City in the late 1930s to produce clothing for athletes. FELCO offers athletic wear and dilly wear with an unchanging quality and a sense of stability that never grows old.
Rough look and dry touch
The fabric is an original jersey made of American cotton open-end yarn. It is a slightly thicker medium weight with an optimal thickness that conforms to the skin when worn.
Open-end yarn (open-end spinning), which is twisted by airflow to make yarn in the same way as cotton candy, has a unique rough, rough surface texture and a crisp feel to the skin.
The elasticity and firmness of the material are highly resistant to repeated wear and washing, and can be used for a long time. The product is washed in the factory, so there is almost no shrinkage.
The fabric is treated with silver ions (AG ) to give it an antibacterial and deodorant function. In addition, a sweat-absorbing quick-drying function is also added. While the classic look of 100% cotton, it also has outstanding practical functionality.
Strong "binder neck"
The neck is round with a binder neck that is placed between the body fabric and the collar. This is a sturdy detail that minimizes stretching. The chest seam, a characteristic of football T-shirts, is also a point of interest.
The classic technique of "Tenchibiki"
This technique uses a single-needle overlock sewing machine to scoop and sew the edges of the folded fabric.
The technique looks unreliable at first glance because only small, popped seams appear, but due to the structure of the seams, the tensile strength in the direction of the seam is superior to that of flat 2-needle sewing, resulting in a strong finish.
This is a classic technique that has been used for a long time, but it requires a great deal of skill and is now disappearing.
Traditional design with a FELCO touch
The neck is a traditional three-button henley neck, and the buttons are slightly smaller, classic cat-eye buttons.
A patch featuring the FELCO logo and a health knit name tag are attached to the hem to accentuate the design.
Comfortable silhouette
Medium weight US cotton fabric, classic sewing. Comfortable, durable, and a universal design that will be loved for years to come.
Slightly slim silhouette, but with slightly loose arms and 5/10 sleeves. It can be worn as an inner layer, or one size up and worn alone in a relaxed manner. It is different from a regular short-sleeved T-shirt and gives you a more casual look.
